There must be many people who have used the Internet to find elusive ancestors. You may have found a distant relative on a surnames list, or solved a family mystery through a mailing list. You may even have found that the missing piece of the jigsaw you have been searching for years suddenly appears on your computer screen.

From January, we intend to run a regular "Success Stories" feature. . If you have such a UK related story please let us know and we will publish the best ones.
